I will be honest I was really nervous about the catering for my brother’s walima. We had around 400 guests and I did not want anything to go wrong. A friend suggested Al Madina Foods and I am so glad I listened.
From the very first call they were easy to talk to. They asked the right questions, understood what we wanted, and helped us put together a menu that felt just right for our family. We went with mutton biryani, chicken karahi, nihari, a starter spread, and a dessert table. They also suggested a couple of extra dishes that honestly ended up being everyone’s favorite.
On the day, their team showed up early, set everything up nicely, and the food came out hot and fresh. For 400 people that is not easy but everything ran smoothly. Every guest was served properly and not a single dish ran short.
What I really appreciated was how calm and organized they were the whole evening. No stress, no last-minute issues. They just quietly handled everything and by the end of the night the whole place was cleaned up and packed away.
The next day our family was still getting calls from guests asking who did the catering. That says it all. We have already booked them again for our cousin’s wedding and I would recommend them to anyone without a second thought.

What kind of events do you cater for?
We cater for all kinds of events — weddings, walimas, mehndi nights, aqeeqa, corporate dinners, birthday parties, iftar gatherings, and everyday family dawats. If you have an occasion, we have the food for it.
How early should I book?
The earlier the better. We usually ask for at least 2 to 3 weeks notice. If your event is during wedding season or Eid, try to book 4 to 6 weeks ahead so we can give your event the full attention it deserves.
Can I choose my own menu?
Absolutely. We sit down with you, understand what your family likes, and build a menu around your taste and budget. You are not stuck with a fixed list — we make it work for you.
We are a small family — do you cater for small gatherings too?
Yes, we do. Whether it is 30 people or 1000, we treat every event the same way. No gathering is too small for us.
Do you bring your own staff on the day?
Yes. Our team arrives early, sets everything up, serves your guests, and cleans up after. You just enjoy the day — we handle the rest.
Can we taste the food before the event?
Yes. Once you confirm your booking, we arrange a tasting session so you can try the dishes and make any changes before the big day.
Do you do both buffet and dastarkhwan style?
Yes. We offer both. If you want a proper buffet setup or a traditional floor dastarkhwan for your guests, just let us know — we will arrange it accordingly.
Which areas of Karachi do you cover?
We cover all of Karachi — DHA, Clifton, Gulshan, North Nazimabad, Gulistan-e-Johar, Nazimabad, Saddar, Korangi, Landhi and everywhere in between. If you are in Karachi, we can reach you.
Is the food cooked fresh or prepared in advance?
Everything is cooked fresh on the day of your event. We never reheat or pre-pack food. Your guests get hot, fresh food — just like it came straight from the kitchen.
Do we need to arrange any equipment ourselves?
Not at all. We bring everything — daigs, chafing dishes, serving trays, crockery, and cutlery. You do not need to worry about a single thing.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
We understand that plans can change. If you cancel more than 7 days before the event, we will work out a fair refund on your advance. For last-minute situations — just give us a call and we will figure it out together.
How do I get a price estimate?
Just send us a WhatsApp message or give us a call. Tell us your event date, how many guests you are expecting, and what kind of food you have in mind — and we will get back to you with a full estimate within a few hours.
